We all know the nutritional importance of oranges. But orange peels can also be used for a radiant and glowing skin. Dry the peels of orange and powder them. Ready made orange peel powder is also available in the market. You can use this orange peel powder in a number of ways. Here I have enlisted few home made remedies for a healthy skin-

Pimples- Make a thin paste of orange peel powder and gram flour. Apply this evenly all over the face and neck. Let it dry for 15-20minutes. Wash off with cold water. This helps to keep off pimples.

OR

Rub fresh orange peel on the face regularly. Following this regime on a regular basis will help you get rid of pimples.

Black spots- Apply a mixture of orange peel powder with milk. Wash off with cold water. With regular use all the black spots and blemishes on the face will eventually fade off and the skin will become radiant.

OR

Apply a mixture of orange peel powder, few drops of honey and lemon juice, and juice of ‘tulsi’ leaves. This remedy is effective for lightening of black spots.

Open pores- Boil fresh orange peels and water together for 20minutes. Let this mixture cool. Wash your face with this water. This water has astringent effect on the skin.

Radiant skin- Mix powdered orange peel, sandalwood powder, some saffron and milk together. Apply this mixture over the face and skin. Let it dry off naturally and then wash off with cold water. This will help make the skin radiant and glow.
