All kids these days are net savvy. But it is our duty to take the extra initiative to see that our internet savvy kids are at a safe distance from several online predators. It is sad that most Indian parents are not even aware of what’s happening as the kids are savvier than the parents when it comes to technology. The problem with Internet is that everything is freely available to all age groups. There are no buttons or mechanism to stop kids surfing the adult sites. In fact the commonest word searched on internet is sex and the most frequented sites that take number 1 position are X-rated sites. Most adult sites have very graphic videos of sex acts that can make sex appear like a circus of sorts. The parents should look into the cache memory of the computer or the history of the browser to know what the kids are surfing. They will never divulge their adventures to parents..
