treatment

Dacryostenosis is common in infants and usually disappear by the time the child is one year old. But do not worry as this is not infectious. Just do some massage by using one finger and massaging from the inner side of the eye to the outer side of the nose. This is quite an effective method and can be done in the alternate sides. If the discharge from the eyes increases, antibiotics drops might be necessary by prescription from doctor.
