The funny thing is I was not at all allergic to nuts until I started drinking soy milk as an adult. Now I'm suddenly also allergic to peanut butter and soy milk but NOT soy beans or peanuts.

Hi, I suddenly introduced a healthy eating plan into my life style at the age of around 39 years and replaced dairy milk with soya milk. I started to eat more fruit and veg but also lots of nuts along with the soya milk. I noticed that the skin on my face which had never seen spots or acne suddenly broke out into acne and as I was not sure what the cause was this continued for six months in line with my new diet. I tried to reduce the peanut intake and found a slight improvement. I am now 42 years old and back on my regular diet with limited dairy milk and no soya milk and obviously less peanuts and my face and skin are completely blemish free [ no spots ]. Hip Hip Hurey !!! My own conclussion was that the soya milk made me allergic to peanuts.
