We all know the term dyslexia. We see it so commonly used in the media. Lesser known terms like dysgraphia and dyscalculia are equally important. All these are types of Learning Disability. There are other types, too.(Such as Non verbal LD. ) A child suspected to have LD is usually assessed by a team of professionals including psychiatrist, pediatrician, eye and ear specialists, psychologist, counselor, special educator, etc. Once diagnosed to have LD, the child can undergo remedial education, and also receives certain provisions in the exams.

Recent studies have shown proof that trauma/TBI has been known to onset a type of dyslexia called strephosymbolia, where all objects are preceived as backwards in the mirror view. I am the living proff for this condition and was a part of this research along with many others who had the same condition. Most of us have another C O B called situs inversus totalis, which is genetic based.

Is there a group of mirror writers/readers that you are presently connecting with? I'd like to be part of this group, if that would be okay.
