Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome (PSAS) / Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD)

I live in NZ and have never met anyone else like myself who feels sexually aroused for about 80% of my waking hours even if it is totally inappropriate or really 'unsexy' circumstances. I have to mastubate for relief but within minutes the feeling comes back again. This started on the 16th July 2010 for no apparent reason at all. I struggle to remain faithful to my husband and have torrid fantasies no matter how busy I am with work and other things. I went from a very low sex drive to craving it all day long. Ironically it is becoming harder and harder to climax during sex but I still feel like I want tohave sex all day. I am thankful that I appear to have a mild version of this disoder. It could be worse from what I have read. I don't have spontaneous orgasms all day like some women who can no longer work because of it. My doctor was not able to help and to be honest there is a small part of me that doesn't want it to go away completely unless I ended up the opposite. I certainly feel more "alive" since this has happened it's just that I feel tingly and aroused way too much.....even as I write this. I have managed to get my number of orgasms down to 1 to 2 a day down from 5! Other than that life is great.

Posted by KK 13 09 2011 1]What are the possible reasons for Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome [PSAS) / Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD)in men , what are the remedies as it equally uneasy for men to tolerate .Any research done and results . 2)On the contrary if the wife is frigid and man has PSAS/PGAD , THE LIFE OF THE COUPLE BECOMES A LIVING HELL with frequent heated debates , arguments , incompatibility, divorce , and several possible mishaps, trauma to kids and so on if not addressed by medical community .There could be several couple with this condition eagerly waiting for a solution.

Hi everyone: I'm Jan Lee, a psychiatric RN turned hypnotist. I have been very drawn to the stories of all of you with this disabling disorder. Hypnosis is a way to bypass the conscious mind [ the busy part of the mind] and access the subconscious mind ( the quiet receptive, noncritical part ) and establish selective ideas and thinking. It is not so complicated. It is like a rewiring of the brain. We can help people manage pain by this "rewiring." I so believe I can help you with this using hypnosis. When you are lost in a powerful book or movie, you are in a state of hypnosis..Your logical mind has simply stepped away allowing the subconscious mind to take in the experience. I live 20 miles northeast of pittsburgh, pennsylvania ( USA) I want to help you and believe I can help. Hypnosis will help you relax, focus and in a way "transform" the overstimulation into a manageable state...This is new territory for me, but I am excited with the possibility of helping you. Ask yourself: If you even get 10 percent relief would you do this? I will discuss my fees. I believe we can possibly do this over skype. I know this is hell and the reaction by some to this disorder is more upsetting. Please contact me : Jan Lee (724-884-3307)you can text me at this number . Or email me at [email protected] Find me on facebook ( Jan Waltenbaugh Lee)

i am 55 and this disorder started when i had my hysterectomy. it drives me nuts. It is there in my sleep and all day long. i have items to take care of this, but it really does not finish the job. Because it starts all over again. the only thing that seems to control it on me is actual human contact for me. even then it may start all over again in about a half a day. i was 40 when this started. So this has been a long time. i thought i was alone in this problem. And does anyone have the same problem as me, with the actual human contact
