1. I have taken a mediclaim policy and the terms attached to the poilicy documents are for Family floater mediclaim Policy. Are these same terms applicable to individual policy also?
2. Some of the treatments have been listed in this schedule for which hospitalisation is not medatory due to scientific advances e.g. Cataract. Can I have the updated list
3. In the schedule, hospitalisation for 24 hours is not applicable for some procedures including Prostate and radiotherapy. Kindly clarify if all treatments for prostate are covered by this. Please confirm that radiotherapy also means Radiation therapy.
Thanking you

I have individual mediclaim policies for all my family members (Rs.500,000/- each) and I have been paying substantial premium year after year for the last 8 years. I have not claimed any hospitalization expenses till date. I would like to convert this into a floater policy now. Can I do it and what steps are to be taken to do it? Please reply.

Thanks

Dear Sir, You can convert yout indiviusal policy into a family floater. you have to fill an application form at the time of renewal and have to pay family floater premium. besides, you can increase or decrease your sum assured and can transfer your policy with same coutinuty benefits to Apollo mucinh health insurance.
