My father lives in Udaipur, he is 70 yrs old and has diabetes, blood pressure and has peritoneal dylasis-CAPD 4 cycles every day for the last 5 years. He also had a by-pass surgery around 13 years back. How can stem cell transplant cure him and how he can lead his normal life like all of us?

Hi Dr. H.L. Trivedi,
I have a 39 year old son who had kidney transplant in 2001. He has been on so many medication that it has affected his body a lot and is making him weaker day by day. He desperately needs to find other avenues, so that he need not take medications. We need your help doctor to to evaluate and give options of the treatment available to him.

Dr. Trivedi claims he can cure him with human embryonic stem cell. How many years can the same kidney work? What is the success rate, side-effects of medications due to surgery in another organ? How long will a stem cell kidney work? How will the nephrons be made to work?
