Hi, my name is Sharad and I am 33 years old suffering from Parkinson's Disease[festinating gait] due to malfunction of basal gangalia. It has been 4 years now and i have lost my energy to work because of movement/speech problems. Can any treatment help so that i can be near to a normal person again. What about stem cell transplant? I would like to know whether a 44 yrs old patient who has suffered from stroke on april 1997 and has hemiparesis[left] can now be cured by stem cell therapy. If yes ,then what are the risks invelved and the cost of treatment.
