Headache / Cephalgia

Headache, or cephalgia, is literally an ache in the head. Headaches are a common complaint, and are usually a symptom of other problems – ranging from fatigue, stress, eyestrain, sleep deprivation, alcohol consumption, dehydration, and infections, to tumors in the brain. Persistent headaches need to be investigated by a doctor.

cluster headache

this is a type of facial pain which is different in character compared to migraine. It occurs at regular time of the day and comes almost everyday for few days to weeks, rarely months and disappears for few weeks to months only to reappear after some time. It is mostly around the eyes, lasts for nearly one hour, with watering ,and redness of the ipsilateral eye, and usually moderate to severe in intensity, more common in smokers and alcohol users. treatment is different than migraine.
