"If a baby is unlucky enough to survive till adulthood, the bones in the body, which have taken a severe beating in the way of fractures, are hideously deformed." I think it's terrible to make this kind of statement and judgement in your article when many people live very full lives with this condition. Please consider rephrasing this!
