Torticollis

I have just been diagnosed with the lateralcollis (my neck pulls to the left). I haven't had any treament yet but can't wait as it is getting worser day by day. Does anyone know if Botox really works for this condition?

Hi Trisha,
I have cervical dystonia/torticollis - my neck pulls to the left as well. I have been receiving treatment for quite some time and have had some relief from the pain and am having success in managing the abnormal head posturing. I do receive Botx injections - every 3 months and it does make a significant difference for me. I also take Artane and Baclofen. The combination of those medications, along with the Botox and sensory tricks have helped me control the dystonia as much as possible.
I hope that by now you have had the Botox injections and are finding some relief. Good luck and take care.
