Since a long time ‘mint’ is known for its soothing effects on inflamed tissues. But many people are unaware about this property of mint. Most of them think of peppermint as a remedy for indigestion. But when used externally, peppermint gives a soothing effect. When applied to sunburn, peppermint cools and soothes the burn.
