Acupuncture

Acupuncture physicians believe there are ‘energy lines’ that go through the body, and use tiny needles inserted in points in these lines to help relive pain and cure diseases. Acupuncture has been proved effective for some disorders like back pain, though scientists are still not sure how it works.

acuuncture treatment for frozen shoulder

Frozen Shoulder Treated In One Minute.

Frozen shoulder, medically referred to as adhesive capsulitis, is a disorder in which the shoulder, the connective tissue surrounding the joint of the shoulder, becomes inflamed and stiff, and grows together with abnormal bands of tissue, called adhesions, greatly restricting motion and causing chronic pain. Adhesive capsulitis is a painful and disabling condition that often causes great frustration for patients and caregivers due to slow recovery requiring treatment for years. Movement of the shoulder is severely restricted. Pain is usually constant, worse at night, when the weather is colder, and along with the restricted movement it can make even small tasks impossible. Certain movements can cause sudden onset of tremendous pain and cramping that can last several minutes. Frozen shoulder, or adhesive capsulitis, is a condition that causes restriction of motion in the shoulder joint. The cause of a frozen shoulder is not well understood, but it often occurs for no known reason. Frozen shoulder causes the capsule surrounding the shoulder joint to contract and form scar tissue. Most often, frozen shoulder occurs with no associated injury or discernible cause. There are patients who develop a frozen shoulder after a traumatic injury to the shoulder, but this is not the usual cause. This particular patient had a fall and injury to fore arm. For more than 6 months she was suffering from Frozen shoulder as diagnosed by an attending orthopedic surgeon. The analgesic gives short-term relief from pain, though the restriction in movement persisted. Acupuncture can give miraculous result as you can see on this video clip posted on youtube. select the entire link and copy paste URL
