Anorexia is nowadays quite a problem with teenage girls with an almost fanatic desire to have a wafer thin body. Being thin becomes an obsession with these girls and they lose weight to an extent that they become malnourished, anemic and vitamin deficient. Strong emotional and social support will help to reduce this problem to a great extent.
