Ayurveda - Alternative to all

Ayurveda is a science of life(Ayur meaning life and veda meaning science) and is the traditional system of healing in India and the oldest one in the world. It is 5000 years old and has its origin i9n the eternal Vedic culture of India.

Ayurveda comprises of eight clinical specialties. They are General medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, head and neck or ENT, Surgery, Toxicology, Rejuvenation, anti aging and Reproductive medicine.

Anti aging and reproductive medicine is very relevant to the modern age. This is due to the pollution in environment, chemicals in food air and water, constant stress of work and relationships. We do not lead a natural and enjoyable life and our life style makes us prone to physical and mental health problems. Rasaayana or rejuvenating is the most favorable and viable solution especially for psychosomatic problems. This treatment cleanses the body, makes the mind active, sharpens and relaxes sense organs, increases immunity and rejuvenates entire body.

Ayurveda offers a good alternative to all other systems of medicine.

Ayurveda is not an alternative of any other system of medicine, It is full fledged system of medicine.
Panch karma is the main feature and forms 80% of the system. Unfortunately the Techniques used in Panchkarma are not complete presently.
Panchkarma includes vaman (Vomiting), Virechan (Pergation), 2 types of Vasti (Anema)and Nasya (Nasal Droping).
Snehan (given by any type of oily massage etc.) and Swedan (sweating by means of steaming or any way) are Pre-operative measures of Panchkarma and not included in it. .
