Low Cholesterol Diet

While fat cannot be totally banished from the food we consume, it is possible to try and lower the bad cholesterol that causes hardening of arteries and heart disease. One good step would be to pot for mono-saturated fat (MUFA) over polyunsaturated Fat (PUFA) on examining food labels.

true thats why its better to avoid chcolates,butter,milk products too since they contain animal fat not needed ...ripe fruits and cereals are d best...all animals products even milk is not good..or honey...

Poppycock! Animal fats are what we have eaten over the entire evolution of the human body. We know how to process them. Some unsaturated fats have been in our diet over the millenia, bu tnot much. Vegetable oils are a new thing [proposed by "marketing" as being good for us - ie cheap to manufacture and easy to line their pockets] and our bodies haven't adapted to processing these properly, leading to stored fat and the obesity epidemic we are seeing right now...

I have to agree with Guest. seed oils and vegetable oils are bad for you. Eat like Lord Krishna of the Sri Bhagvatam for a few months [butter, desi ghee, kaleji, rice, vegetables, fruits, salt] and all your problems will go away. Do not touch seed oils, vegetable oils or fish oils. If you search for the harmful effects of these oils there is plenty of info on the internet.
