Education about Meningitis is what it is important. We lost our eldest daughter MacKenzie (19) to this dreaded disease in February 2005. Meningococcal Septicemia- our precious girl died in less than 24 hours from the onset of her flu like symtems. We didn't know anything about the disease -or that there was a vaccine that could have prevented our daughters death - or that teens in college and university are at greater risk. Put money into education about this disease so parents and their children can make an educated decision on whether or not to vaccinate. We didn't have that option!!!!
