Tea is a healthy beverage offering many health benefits and its proven for many years. it help to boost metabolism and it help to prevent blood clotting and lower cholesterol levels etc.if there is any other side effect maybe it depends on how your body reacts on drinking tea like insomnia. but other things you said i think it need to prove and validation. i drink more cup of tea then everyday!

Keep in mind this article isn't about drinking tea, it's about taking 10x concentrated polyphenol supplements.

my personal experience: within 2-3 days of drinking a couple
or glasses of iced, home brewed green tea I began experiencing
overwhelming axiety, strange thoughts and seeing things move
in my periphial vision. I am a 45 yr/white female with no history
of mental illness. I also had a neighbor (50ish, arab man) who
was drinking large amount to loose weight (he was already thin)
and he was know as the neighborhood mad man (he seemed manic/dep.

i agree,, i drank tea recently and experience overwhelmed anxiety. doubt with that feeling, i just try not to drink tea for a day, nothing was happened. in the next day, i drink tea, i feel anxiety roll again in my mind. thanks god i know it was came from tea. maybe i could think that i become physicotic..

My father lived to 86 and my aunt lived to 93 they both drank tea. My father ideal of tea in the morning ,which i called a bath tub cup which consume the whole tea pot.he drank in the morning a beer for lunch and tea at supper.1 gal. of wine a week for a night cap.never drunk.and never sick.hated doctors.didn't drink coffee at all if could be avoided.tea oat meal weatgerm brown suger-can milk.lunch beer sadines cheese on toast.supper meat potatoes vegie. no pills at all no vitiams.At 85 he could out run his 23 year old son.Wake up pill laden America.
