My mother-in-law experienced a similar incident in Aug. 2006 when she was give 96ml of 5FU in 1 hour and it should have been administered over 48 hours. She has been very sick but is still living at this time. Can anyone tell me of incidents they have experienced?

My father-in-law was given 96 hours worth of 5FU chemo in 4 hours. It almost killed him, but it has been 5 years since that happened and we still have him with us!
