I have HT, went undiagnosed for over 8 years. Even though my TSH is now low due to treatment, I have never felt the same. I function now is about how I feel. Not too terribly different to when I was undiagnosed. My thyroid anti-body count was the highest humanly possible I was told. I'm not quite as tired, not quite as fuzzy-brained and not quite as achy all over as I was prior to medication. I have no where near the energy or mental health as others my age. so I would agree with this article!
