Blood Group

The ABO blood group system was discovered by Karl Land Steiner in 1901. This system has classified blood into different types, based on the red blood cells (erythrocytes) and the proteins on their surface. Of the various types of red blood cell antigens - the ABO and rhesus types are the most important.

My wife is b n mine is o , my 1st child [daughter] is b and my coming 2nd child (son) is b too. Based on the blood group diagram shown son should b b n daughter should be o, is there any mistake on my calculation?

My marrige is after few days.. my blood groop is B negetive and girl group is O possitive... so any problems when we trying for a baby? And what precations i have to do before sex?

My fathers blood group is B and my Mothers blood group is B but mine is A . Is this possible?, or there is any mistake in my blood grouping test done by doctors????....pls! reply

Blood types are inherited from the presence/absence of both parents alleles [or genes]. Meaning that a total of 30 combinations of blood type can be created. It is common for a pregnant women to carry a fetus with a blood type different from her own.
