Dengue and dengue hemorrhagic fever are illness caused by a viral infection that spreads through the bite of the Aedes mosquito. The main symptoms are fever, headache, pain behind the eyes, muscle and joint pain and rash. Sometimes there may be bloody diarrhea or vomiting, and bleeding from mucous membranes and the gums.

this is a CBC result of my daughter.. last 7/11/12, her platelet count is 236,000, and just thus 7/14/12, it became 183,000... but the hematocrit drops from 38.7 - 37.6.. is this alarming? i just want to know... thanks

I had a fever yesterday and today it subsided a bit, before i got a fever i had a mild flu then when i woke up i have fever, but now my head is kinda achy and i cant sleep. do you think i have dengue fever?

what is the alternative med bro?thanks so much...i have fever and yasterday my joints ache...but i have no rashes,not vommiting,no stomach ache....what are ohter signs you think i have dengue?thanks more power

my grandson has fever on and off for 4 days and was only given a paracetamol syrup every 4 hours. It so happened i meet a friend and told to give him more fluids by which i am doing at present,but he told me to boil a certain plant which we consider as grass in our place , we call this plant a TAWA TAWA. i dont know what is the exact english term on this plant. as i kept on asking my friends they told me that it is good bcoz somebody has proven it already, by drinking ths tawa2 patient can recover without hospitalization. Please help me to understand about this plants.. thank you

Daily exersice and one egg a day,and good wholesome veg.diet,is necessary.plus if infected Herpakax antiviral drug is useful in reducing mortality in DENGUE infection. Dr.Joseph[family phycian].Get admitted in a good inpatient hospital.Thank you.
