I had inguinal hernia repair 1 year ago. I had it done the old way and no mesh was needed. My pain is so bad and the balloon like swelling hurts and never goes down. When I walk I feel a pulling in my leg. Do you think I was sewed up to much. Can your procedure help me. I can not take the pain anymore. I am in NY. I do not know where you are located but do you know a surgeon in NY that does your procedure? Also after my surgery my penis curves upward and is shorter. I feel it is because I was sewed up to much. The doctor who did the surgery did not tell me what would happen by the different ways of doing hernia repair. He told me to go to a stomach doctor. And the stomach doctor said I was sewed up to much and I can be released. Is this possible.

It appears to be a bulge of recurrence at the operation site. It needs re-surgery by our technique

My brother in law had laproscopic hernia surgery on both side about 4 month back in Delhi. After 2 week rest, we went for holidaying. On return, there was slight pain. He took pain killer under doctor advice. The pain increased and after about 2 month severe pain in thies. After 3 month he can't move and severe pain on movment of legs. One doctor has advised rest with pain killers for 6 week. Another senior doctor suspects TB at operation location. Patient has evening fever and high ESR. We are in very big confusion as there is no clear reason of pain. Should we give TB medicine or not ? Please advise.

I was going for morning jogging since last 3 years. Since last about 2 months i’m having swelling and pain in my groin area but these swellings are not balloon type swelling, infact they are very difficult to see. I feel light pain if i walk for 2-3 Kms or sit wearing tight jeans. Could it be Inguinal Hernia or Sports hernia? I have stopped jogging completely and started going for swimming, the pain has started reducing but swelling is persisting same as it was initially. I don’t want mesh surgery performed can it be fixed completely by old method or your method?

hi im 33 and male. My problem is that after a failed first hernia attempt it was decided that the mesh repair was going to be used, i had the mesh repair over 8 yrs ago and i suffer pain and im convinced its still causing damage even now, the cremaster muscle does not function at all and my left testicle just lies dorment, my penis also feels twisted to the left and i feel my sexual function has been affected, i feel that there is other damage in and around the repair which has caused much anxioty and stress, it has affected my work and my sports and my personal life, im a keen board sports enthusiast and dont feel able to push myself because of my mesh repair, iv had a specialist state that it is normal for the cremaster muscle to be cut during the inguinal repair is this true? i feel theyve made a rite mess and theyre not willing to look into it further, is it possible for the mesh to be removed after such a long time and any resulting damage repaired and the hernia fixed with your method?? sorry for the spelling mistakes.

Dear Dr.Desarda, I have been diagonsed with inguinal hernia in my right groin. I would like to know where in Delhi can I get it operated using your method and since I can not afford too expensive a treatment, please recommend a reasonable hospital/ institute that does not compromise on the quality of treatment. Please give me the cost of the total treatment. Also, since as of now I dont feel any major problem in my activities, is it advisable to postpone it? If yes, for how long? Thanks in advance. Sanjay
