The undersigned wish to have mediclaim insurance with immediate effect.My throat operation will be costing me about Rs. One lakh[RS,100,000]Please help me in getting insured so that I can have cashless throat operation.I will pay insurance premuim instantly through cheque.

Dear Pooja
I am sorry to note about your ailment. as regards to Mediclaim, No claim will be paid for diseases that are Pre Existing. here, in your case, your throat ailment is already existing. hence, as per IRDA Rules, No Company will settle a Claim. Hence, you will have to create your own financial resources. Anyhow, i will suggest you to take a Mediclaim which will come of as a boon in the event of any ailments in future. With best wishes
